Spiritual/Psychics: Are They One

There are many Spiritualist/Psychics. Are the two synonymous with each other? Not necessarily. You do not have to be a psychic to be a spiritualist and visa-versa even though it turns out that one is usually both. A spiritualist is by definition someone who believes through witness that there is life after death. A Psychic has sixth sense perception and is sensitive to other phenomena.

So, with those two ideas in mind let us explore the concept of a spiritualist/psychic. A spiritualist is more than likely a medium. A medium is an intermediary between this world and other dimensions where one can communicate with spirits and entities that reside outside of ones being. In order to do that one must have some level of psychic ability. This ability usually is an inherited gift that one is born with.

Even though one is born with the ability to channel or communicate with spirits and entities sometimes one has to develop and hone their gifts. In this case they can study under a more experienced psychic or medium to expand their natural talents. When one is divinely blessed with the talent to channel it usually manifests at an early age. For example those children who see and talk to people that no one else sees may actually be talking to spirits.

There are two ways spiritualists/psychics/mediums can channel the other side so to speak. One way is to go into an unconscious state of being called a trance. Once in a trance the mediums body becomes receptive to receive the spirit on entity physically. The spirit or entity takes over their bodies to communicate to those present. The spirit or entity may offer guidance, warnings to help or conduct healing through the mediums hands. Another way a spiritualist/psychic/medium can communicate with a spirit or entity is hearing, seeing and interacting without being totally unconscious. One can do readings this second way as well by using tools such as tarot cards, crystal balls glasses of water and other things. A spirit guide helps assist with the reading but is only visible to the reader.

A Spiritualist/Psychic is able to tune into other frequencies that people that are not spiritualists, psychic or mediums cannot feel or see. These are other planes or dimensions where different spirits and entities reside. Most Spiritualist/Psychics have a particular spirit guide or guardian angel that they communicate with on a regular basis.
